Created for 2024 7DRL.
Arrow keys or WASD to move. "I" to access inventory. "L" to look, although look only functions with WASD, ran out of time to add arrow movement here.
In a flooded world humanity limps on. You are a Hunter, one of the few tasked with preserving the ancient ways. Destroy those who would defy the Keepers, the religious order tasked with preserving the relics of old and learning the ancient ways. Will you be able to stop the heretics that risk plunging the world further into darkness?
*If you have any trouble with the text in the game try resizing your browser. The game is optimized to run at 840x700, so you won't want to go full-screen or too terribly wide with the display (the screenshots give a good indicator of the length/width ratios that work well).

This was a fun, short little game. It's REALLY hard if the enemy drops don't go your way.
There's occasionally a bug with the text that resizing my browser didn't fix, and the page has to be reloaded once you "complete" the quest, but that doesn't get in the way of it being a fun little roguelike. This is a great foundation, I hope you continue on and make something with a little more depth out of this.

The text bug has been driving me insane. So I've been working on it and spent WAAYYY too much time during the jam working on fixing it too. It's my first real game in JavaScript.
Already working to expand it :) There's a whole world I'm trying to explore in this game, just hoping to have a much larger updated version that'll be coming out!
